It’s quickly approaching Christmas, which means the end of the year is around the corner. It’s time to reflect on the past 12 months and look forward to a thriving 2017. The festive season is always a very special time of year; families and friends gather, gifts are exchanged; greetings are given as we celebrate the good things in life. As a part of our celebrations Prowash would like to thank you, our customers, for giving us your support and the opportunity to help your business and be your supplier of choice.
For Prowash, 2016 has been a productive yet challenging year. 2015 brought with it the resurgence of El Nino and much hot weather to kick start 2016 with a boom. By mid-year La Nina had swept the country to bring wetter than normal conditions across the nation. With such fluctuations in climate it creates a challenging environment for the car wash industry, teaching us to run a more focused business and work harder to maintain revenue. Also the Australian dollar entered 2016 on shaky ground but stabilised later in the year.
After the recent US elections, if the markets follow popular theory, you would expect to see the Aussie dollar strengthen as investors leave the safe haven of the US dollar due to the uncertainty of the US economy following Trumps election. That may not always be the case so Prowash always operates with customers’ business in mind and continues to work with suppliers to keep price increases to a minimum.
The team at Prowash are constantly learning in the field with the endeavour to offer the best resources and education to our customers across Australia. We aspire to forge strong relationships with our customers to make your business successful. No matter what equipment you own you can always rely on Prowash for parts, chemicals and vending. Our website aims to provide comprehensive information on all available parts for our customers while offering good pricing, great service and advice as well. We are also putting effort towards reducing costs and freight prices wherever possible and provide the best service to customers.
Prowash has also been keeping up to date with the latest developments in the carwash industry. This helps us all stay on the ball with industry challenges, opportunities and trends. In 2016 we saw many new entrants into the car wash industry bringing a new energy and eagerness to learn and drive better business to improve washes. Property prices are up, and yet car washes continue to sell with new washes continuing to be built nationwide.
Prowash attended this year’s Car Wash show in Nashville in what would be the largest show in 10 years and it looks like Las Vegas next year will be even bigger. 2017 also brings us the ACWA bi-annual expo at Etihad Stadium which aims to be bigger and better than 2015. So lock November in your calendars and come along to gain knowledge, network with numerous local and international distributors and operators to see the latest trends in the industry.
The introduction of Splatter Wax with Carnauba to car washes took off in 2016 and cemented itself in the market. All those that have converted over to Splatter Wax have been singing its praises to its effectiveness and show. Demand continues to grow so don’t be the last to get on board! A big thanks goes out to our many long term and loyal SuperSat customers for your continued support. I am confident that your customers are also enjoying the benefits of cleaning their cars with SuperSat soaps.
Planning for the future Prowash revamped its logo in 2016 for a fresh new look. We are excited about what lies ahead in 2017 and beyond. I sincerely hope that you will join us as we continue to evolve and improve our level of service.
