Solenoid valves play a critical role in nearly all types of car wash equipment. A normally closed (NC) valve is the most commonly used solenoid in a car wash. They are used to allow soap and wax to be metered into your high pressure pump, as well as controlling all your low pressure functions such as foam brush, tyre cleaner and presoak to be delivered to the car wash bay

Mini diaphragm solenoids when energized, the solenoid plunger is pushed from the top plug by the kick-off spring and closes the pilot port. Fluid passes through the diaphragm bleed hole until pressure is equalised on both sides of the diaphragm to shut off the large port
