Q: What is the price of a LaserWash®?
A: The purchase price will vary depending on options and
support equipment chosen. Please give us a call today on (03) 8340
3200 and we can help you further.
Q: What are the key features of a LaserWash® 4000 &
M5?
A: The LaserWash® 4000 has been the pioneer and industry leader
in automatic car wash systems. The LaserWash® 4000 and M5 machines
are totally touch free and based on high water pressure with
low-volume flow. The ability to measure each vehicle (both length
and width), large or small, is an innovative feature that reduces
the consumption of water, wash solutions, and time. The exclusive
technology and engineering savvy that operates the LaserWash® 4000
& M5 machines is cleverly hidden from the customer’s view. All
of components are designed to compliment The LaserWash®
customer-friendly “open bay” concept.
Q: How many vehicles per hour can a
LaserWash® wash?
A: The LaserWash® can clean an average of 10 vehicles per hour.
Many factors can impact wash volume performance, including wash
package configuration, equipment configuration, and attended (or
unattended) sites.
Q: Can the LaserWash® automatically contact me if a fault
occurs?
A: The LaserWash® 4000 offers a modem with a pager feature to
monitor the LaserWash’s status. This system requires a phone line
connection to the LaserWash’s computer controller, the LaserMind.
The LaserMind will send a “fault” page should the system experience
an interruption. The page is reference-coded, describing the nature
of the fault, time and location (if you have multiple sites). This
allows the operator to know precisely what the problem is prior to
arriving at the site. Should the system automatically recover after
a “fault”, a “machine restored” page is sent. The Laserwash®
M5, which has a more advanced control system, will enable you to be
notified of the fault via an email message. Access to the machine
can also be achieved remotely via an internet connection.
Q: What makes the LaserWash® such a reliable and superior
functioning system?
A: Original and well-conceived engineering, a dedicated plan of
continuous system improvement, and years of documented research and
development all contribute to LaserWash’s success. In addition, PDQ
is quality minded and became ISO 9001 certified in 1999 by
implementing a company-wide Quality Management System. Both PDQ and
its Quality Management System receive praise at each and every ISO
audit.
Q: What are the advantages of the Laserwash® Touchfree
Automatic?
A: The advantages are as follows:
- It has a customer-friendly open bay design, with all equipment
mounted overhead.
- The patented Virtual Treadle® removes the possibility of the
treadle plate damaging the customer’s wheels. It’s as easy as
entering your garage at home.
- It measures each vehicle’s length and width to ensure the wash
arch remains at an optimum distance to give the best possible
clean.
- The fault reporting through your pager or email allows you to
remain in touch with the equipment if the site is
unattended.
- The Laserwash® M5 has a newly incorporated internet-based
interface which allows you remote access to the wash configuration,
sales reports and fault-reporting history. This also allows
Prowash, if permitted, access to your Laserwash® M5, for
troubleshooting and diagnosis of faults. This can greatly
decrease the downtime of your equipment.
