Prowash Australia was formed in March 1996 by Scott Bristow and Andrew Beard. Their vision was to build a business that supplied only quality car wash equipment, service, parts and products to existing and future car wash operators throughout Australia. 

Today, Prowash manufacture a range of self serve equipment and vacuums here in Australia as well as representing PDQ (LaserWash® 4000 & M5 Touchfree Automatic Car Washes), Blendco Systems’ (SuperSat® Soaps), Cleaning Systems, Inc. CSI (Lustra Soaps), Alamo Water Refiners (Water Softeners), and Anztec (Change Machines).  Prior to 2001, before we manufactured our own self serve car wash equipment, we were the Australian distributor for Dilling Harris Inc. Due to this there is some variation in the equipment installed at car wash sites prior to 2001, compared to equipment installed after this date.

July 1999 was a benchmark year for Prowash, when we decided to become the “one-stop shop” in car washing, and commenced selling soaps, spare parts and vending products. Since then, the business has continued to consolidate as our client base has grown. Today we can say with confidence that we’re definitely here to stay.
